Default Prayer requests

Hello to all of my new friends,

If I may, I would like to make a few prayer requests.

Firstly, for my friend Megan. She is one of the members of the medical outreach team that I went to South Africa with. After returning home, she was met with this:

"...Already life here is striking and if I could I would like to ask for prayer. A short while after I got home yesterday I spoke to my father and had to head right out again, my mom went to the ER saturday night and was sitting and waiting in EC observation. She was admitted last night they think something is wrong with her gallbladder but they are not sure if they will need to do surgery or not so we wait. Needless to say I did not go to work today out of exhaustian and anticipation of being needed at the hospital. Please pray for her health her patience as we wait for a conclusion."

That letter was followed up the next day with this one:

"...Some of you may know that my mother went to ER Saturday and was admitted to RO Beaumont Sunday night. She had surgery yesterday to remove her gallbladder laproscopicaly, however the surgeon said that there may be another issue and that he may have to go in again. She continues to be in great pain, the surgeon decided this morning that he will go back in but this time not minimally invasively. My mother is very scared and has asked (which is very unlike her) that I ask everyone I know to pray. Please pray that God be with the hands of the surgeon, he has been amazing thus far, and with the post op staff that will take care of her. Pray for God to be my parents hope and comfort, for healing and removal of pain. Pray that my father will trust those taking care of my mother and trust that God is in control of everything. Pray that I may have patience and compassion with my family as many of them are scared and unclear medically what is happening, and that God may use me to convey His word of hope and love to my family."

Please pray for her mother and for her and her whole family that God brings healing, understanding and clarity to them.

My second request is for my friend Kelli. This was her letter to me:

"...I have some sad news to share with you. On April 16th the basement at my place caught on fire. I was not home. Pam, Tim & the baby were and made it out safely. Thank God. Jake, Chubsy and baby T-T did not make it out. They all died from smoke inhalation. My heart is just broken. I was hysterical at the scene. They had to put me in the ambulance and give me oxygen because I almost passed out. They did'nt burn and so I was allowed to see them and say my goodbyes. It was one of the worst days of my life. I have never been so shocked, afraid, hurt and in disbelief as I was that day. I truly thought that I might wake up and find out it was just a very bad dream.

I lost 98% of everything I own. Pam and Tim lost their big items from smoke damage but greatfully they were able to salvage all the babys' stuff and their clothes etc. My coworkers, their coworkers...all our friends and friends friends and family have all been so giving and supportive. I know that God softened the blow as much as He could. I was able to buy myself some new clothes and get my necessities. I've decided to stay at Pattys until I move to Cali in the fall. Pam and them found a new house already. We are all rebuilding and in awe of peoples' kindness."

Please pray that this will somehow bring her closer to God instead of being an opportunity for the enemy to pull her away from God.

Thank you all so much for your support.

I prayers and thoughts are with your friends. I hope that they will feel the Lord's presence in their time of need and that He will be able to give them peace.

Fiddlestix:

I will definitely include your friends on my prayer list.

I have one question. Are Jake, Chubsy, and Baby T-T pets? How sad.
Please let both of these friends know that we at Clown Forum are praying for them.

Yes... Jake was her dog & Chubsy & TT were her cats. Actually, TT used to be my cat "Karma" until I gave her to Kelli.
