Default Rainbow seeds

This could go under walk arounds but since it's ministry related I put it here.
Rainbow seeds [sprinkles]have been a round awhile but I've added them to my Noah's Ark Story bag routine for walk arounds and I got a good responses back from a recent church event I did. I have the crowd assist me in telling the story as I turn the bag inside out and on the last one there is a zipper compartment [I used to keep a rainbow mouth coil in there, but now I added small little zip lock bags with rainbow seeds so I can pass them out and I tell people when ever they see rainbow seeds they can remembers Gods promise to Noah.

Be my guest.
Another clown gave me "Rainbow seeds" when she was talking about walk-arounds, I just added it to my routine lately. Any body have any other suggestions with them?

I have that Noah routine, and I've never used it! I think I will try to break it in at VBS this year.

So by "sprinkles" do you mean cake sprinkles? I suppose you could also use a little envelope of Fruit Loops. (although they might be too bulky for the Noah change bag.)

When I first read this post, I somehow skipped over the word "sprinkles," and was wondering what was used as rainbow seeds. What came to my mind was Fruity Pebbles - slightly larger than sprinkles, but still "seed shaped."

I've got the Noah Bag and I love that idea... I've used my Noah Bag a couple of times already and I've always put "TestaMints" in mine... they are Soft peppermints with scriptures printed on the plastic wrapper... I bought mine from Lifeway Christian Bookstore.

What is it with Northerners that put sugar in cornbread?? Thats not cornbread! When you put sugar in cornbread it becomes CAKE!!!

Put the sugar in the tea! Thats where it belongs! I like my tea to be so sweet that I can pour it on my pancakes if I run out of syrup!

Default What is the Noahs Ark Bag?

I have a bag that you keep turning inside out and it has several different colors but I never knew what to do with it. Is that the Noahs Ark bag? and if not what is it for? I have a lot of things I dont no what they are for or how to use them...just thought they was cool...remember when the touchable bubbles came out and they were so expensive just to buy them in the pencil...now you can get them in the tube at the dollar store...and I remember once buying a bear that when u pushed on his belly his bubble blower came out...cool man..gotta have that...5 dollars...also seen at a dollar store now..so just wondering if I have that bag and dont no what it is! Thanks and have a great week! Smile..everyone will wonder what you are up to!

Sounds like a story bag, there are several different kind out there. If you have the one that is just solid colors, you could use it for any story all though I think its used to tell the salvation story, simular to the colored braclet, etc. ex. red for Jesus's Blood, Black for sin, White for Truth, etc. I've heard different versions of what each color stands for. The Noah one helps you tell the story as you turn it inside out [some pic. vary] but I think all end with the last time you turn it inside out, you're left with rainbow fabric. check out Bubba's Clown Supplies: clown makeup, comedy magic, Fun item, he carries the largest assortments of story bags that I've seen.

Squiggles.... The Noah Bag that I have came from Bubba's Clown Supplies...

first layer is Brown: I talk about how God told Noah to build an ark, God told Noah to build it out of Gopher Wood... so Noah turned to his sons and said "Boys... Go-for wood!"

Then I turn it inside out and it has an animal print. I talk about how The Lord told Noah to put two of every kind of animal on the Ark. (then I talk about Animals... make animal sounds, sing Old McNoah (Had and Ark), whatever...

then I turn it inside out again and its solid blue. I talk about how after all the animals and Noah and his family were loaded into the ark. God closed the door and it began to rain. For Forty Days and Forty nights it rained and the Earth flooded.

Then I turn it again and it has a Flower Print fabric... I talk about how after 40 days and Nights Noah let a Dove fly from the window of the ark. The Dove came back with an Olive Branch which meant that the water was drying up. Soon the Earth was dry so Noah unloaded the animals from the Ark.

Then I turn it inside out again and it has a rainbow print. As a sign and a promise that God would never again destroy the Earth, he put a beautiful rainbow in the sky.

My rainbow has the pocket which I usually put candy in them... but others have mentioned other great things! .... Best of Luck with your Bag Squiggles.
