You could start with a change bag and add a number of silks talking about different materials and colors. Bring out a blendo type silk with most of the colors. Palm a mouth coil into the center of the big silk and produce even more color.

Maybe add it with a TT and some colored scarves?

Tell the story of Joseph and the coat of many colors making the colored scarves vanish at the point where his brothers betray him and sell him to the Midianites and finally appear as a mouth coil at the end?

It is a magical secret. If you combine enough "T's" together you can do magic.

And you thought all it took was enough $$$$$.

Thumb Tip - sorry

In a nutshell the routine is similar to the change bag recommendation by Fitzwilly (evidently typing as he was posting previously). I personally prefer thumb tips to change bags for vanishes and switches. Sometimes they require more work, but if you load them consistently and stash them in the same locations about your person then generally you'll have few problems even using several TT's

Smirky,

Never feel afraid to ask a question... Remember... The only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked.

I sat there for about 10 minutes scratching my head trying to figure out what a TT was.... (and the whole time I actually had one in my pocket)

lol.

Not that I'm wanting to get into a long theological debate on Clown Forum (not that it hasn't happened before), but I thought you might want to know that "coat of many colors" isn't exactly what the Hebrew said.

The word "passim" (singular, "pas") means "the palm of the hand." I suppose that the old translators didn't know what to make of this, so they kind of pictured a crazy-quilt sort of patchwork. However, when you put it together with the only other time it's used (2Sam 13:18), it seems that it was actually a palm-length garment, as opposed to a short-sleeve "work uniform." Joseph was being set up as a supervisor, while the others were to be workers; a modern equivalent would be for the others to have blue collar shirts and Joseph was given a white collar shirt. (Similarly, Tamar had a long-sleeve shirt as a sign of her virginity, and tore off the sleeves after being attacked).

Now, this being said, does that mean I'd never refer to Joseph's "coat of many colors"? No, but if I'm going to spend any time on it, I like to make sure I'm telling the full story. Thought you all might want to know.
