I did a little bit of business in Shanghai airport a couple of years ago with a severed arm wrapped up in a piece of news paper. It was the funniest thing watching pandamonium and consternation break out around me. For a weird moment or two, despite not knowing a single word in Chinese, I knew exactly what they were saying to each other as they hit the panic buttons.
I always have fun in airports. There is something about the atmosphere inside them that makes people very susceptable to falling for very obvious things in a way that they dont under normal circumstances. The present avatar I am using is exactly how I looked attempting to go through Spanish customs in Madrid last month.

The last person in England to be punished for blasphemy was John William Gott. In 1922, he likend Jesus to a circus clown and received 9 months hard labour. He died that same year aged 56. These anochronist blasphemy laws were finally rescinded by Gordon Brown with suport from the Church of England on July 8th 2008.
I now live with the fear of people likening me to Jesus Christ without the law to protect me.
