You can get some very light fabric that makes great costuumes at Joanne Fabrics. You may have thought of this already, but just an idea.

Default homemade costume found on ebay

In case you didn't find a costume I found this one on ebay. The gall said it is a large or extra large. It is a jumpsuit one with a jacket with large purple buttons. I thought it looked pretty cute. Definitely not one of those off the rack cheepo type ones you usually see. It is only $12.00 to start but it goes off in 2 days. Hope this will help. I don't know the seller so am not endorsing anyone just found it while surfing ebay and thought it looked nice.

I make bibbed bloomers. They are elastic waist and either elastic legs or cuffed to hang open and still give a full look. I am from Tx so I know hot!!! you can put any shirt with it. If we use a buzy print a solid shirt is great. I'll see if I can put on a pic of me in one.

I don't know if you can sew any at all but, for the cooler costume. Get you a pair of scrub pants or any with elastic in them cut the bottom of about 21" for the crotch. The sew a piece of fabric of your choice about 6" wide take other pieces of fabric and make pockets. Real simple if you can sew a little. Then take a tee shirt take the sleeves out and replace with any fabric of your choice. I hope this helps!!
