Donating old clown stuffs...
Hey guys!
I know we are new to the forum, but I thought that I would go ahead and post this request while I was thinking about it. I put up a post asking for advice on clown shoes and it got me thinking...
Anyway, I'm Rain and I am the Founder/President of Kidz Jam, a non-profit organization that provides educational entertainment at music festivals. We teach the kids about music, recycling and talk to the parents about hearing and stranger safety. We also give out 'survival packs' that include earplugs, hearing & stranger safety info, band-aids, cold bottled water, fresh fruit, sunblock, bug spray and anything else the kids might need during a long weekend or week at a music festival. We try to put together a safe, fun area so that the whole family can play together, and then go on to enjoy the rest of the event with happy, satisfied kids!
After years of hard work, we are finally a tax exempt, 501(c)3 organization.
Yes, we saved up all our donation pennies to pay the tax man, and hopefully it will help us out in the end!! This means that we can accept donations from people and they can write it off on their taxes. So if anyone has any kind of clown supplies, balloons, costumes..anything you're not using, we can put it to good use and send you a reciept for the value of the supplies.
If you don't have anything to donate...thanks for reading this far, and maybe you could tell a friend about us? Also, if you live in the midwest area, we could use a clown or two at some of our events. These are music festivals where people camp out, play songs around the fire...there're lots of vendors and plenty of potential clients to meet.
Thanks guys!
