Tim, I waved at you while on on Kennedy drive.
It was so great to be back in Chicago-one of my very favourite cities. (even if the Polish neighbourhood is Spanish-speaking....nothing against them, of course, but one would expect to hear more Polish in said area. but, whatever.........)

Scruff! Missed seeing you, but enjoyed the drive through Indiana anyway.

Soo......we had planned to outdrive the big storm, but sadly it hit us this afternoon. The roads were so slick that the car and trailer were starting to swerve, so we pulled off in Janesville and got a hotel. It looks bad enough that we might not make it into St. Cloud until either tomorrow night or sometime Monday, but we won't know anything until tomorrow morning. We're only about 5 hours from our destination (so close, yet so far.) but if the roads are bad, then we can't even drive that short distance.

Anyway, we're going to go get some dinner. (resturants are withing walking distance.) I'll keep you updated....please send lots of good weather vibes and prayers our way.

Oh, by the way, my elbow needs heat (which is lacking) not ice (which is plentiful). I still can't straighten it without extreme amounts of pain.....it kinda sucks. (it's my right elbow, which supports my dominant hand....ouch!)
