If you would like a floor pump. I have the little older on I customized and hardly used, I just got a filbert and wish to sell the older one, it looks like a colorful cloud design and shaped like a missile, Does a nice job, I just rarely used it. The filbert is more colorful to me and easier to take with, so I will likely use it a lot more. I can't tell you where to find the building sites as I don't remember where I saw them lol....

Nice to follow up, I don't look at the pumps as the same as facepainting, so my opinion, is different there. I feel using a pump does not change the quality of the style of balloon making. I for one would not aprreciate having to blow up 30-50 ballons with my Ole lungs, lol, I probably would be blowing up the last ones from the floor anyway, lol, now that may be funny for the kids but my body wouldn't like it much *< )&

I'm with you on the floor pump.
I use my electric pump on a lot of occasions, but its a little noisy & sometimes distracting, such as working in a restuarant. We recently did a show at a school for severely handicapped & used the floor pump because of some of the childrens conditions. We were afraid the electric one might scare them.

you can also use the don't put the balloon in my mouth so that little ones don't get the idea to copy the clown and have one break in their mouth. but I think I'm gonna use the clown spit line this summer.

I like both of these lines and I'm sure there are many more... I will incorporate them as well if I'm asked, most of the time I just say that the pump alllows me to talk to them while I am working...

Qualatex changed the style of the famed purple pump a few years ago. The older model while slightly longer than todays version was manufactured from a more brittle plastic. Many twisters and even more beginners would break the pump right below the hand grip. The newer purple pump still has the patented tapered, angled tip and works just as well without the worry of breaking at any moment. Since you are in Chicago have you tried MK Brodys? I was talking to Lee Kaufman (the head guy for Broady's) in Feb. at a seminar. He is a very nice, knowledgable and helpful gentleman.
