I bought a 12v balloon pump but i cant rely on it, it only blows up around 10 260s, then the battery starts to go flat. An expensive mistake.
Im looking for a floor standing manual pump which isnt heavy. I hope to pick one up at the millenium jam.
Ive had people ask me about mouth inflating and i just give them the hygiene/spit line, works every time.

Here's another one, if you're blowing up a balloon by any other means besides mouth and they say "You're cheating" ask them if they drove there. If they say "yes" then say "you cheated".

Why don't you take your electric pump with you to the Millenium Jam. Only 10 balloons means something is wrong. There is a good chance that someone there will have some experience building and rebuilding these things and they might be able to help.

I got my first experiance working next to a filbert yesterday. it was an impressive pump but i like the versatility of my little hand pump. we were both doing very well keeping up with the line. it was an ok pump. I may get one someday but I can't afford (or see why I should) at this point in time.

I never tried floorpumps but I think I prefer to just stick with my handpomp that you can stick in your backpocket. But hey maybe I wouldn't say this if I had a try on a floorpump, maybe I'm afraid I would fall in love with a floorpump and than I have to carry it with me wherever I go.

Millicent, how much are you looking to spend I have a floor pump that I'm willing to part with, I could send a pic of it if you wish and see if you'd like it. to buy it new would cost a good deal more. Let me know if you are interested
