Hi Fitzwilly. Yes , I made the adventure in 2005 and 2006, and I was paid up to go this year but I was laid up at the time.

Walkers are the best to strengthen your upper torso as well as your legs. Add some weight to the walker like water balloons? or something like like a puppet or a doggy with some weight added . A few pounds will help with stability also. Attach a couple of horns and some fake headlights to let everyone know life can be fun no matter what.
Thanks for the encouragement Gladman, I do use a walker at home and out for short distance, even though Dinky (my wife mary) gets worried, I can and do walk unassisted when I can at home.

Default Thanx gang.

I appreciate all the feedback (re: using a scooter and all). until Ifind a wayto resume clowning (and I will) I'm functioning as a ventriloquist in a retirement center, I put a performing platform (a 10 inch circularpiece of covered plywood ) and take my newest and cutest (a girl) dummy around doing walkarounds. the dummy is named Annie, she is adorable, has soft brown real hair (my others have "carved hair") and has a nurses uniform hence- "Nurse Annie".
I told another vent "Annie is sweet, shy, a little rough around the edges, and occasionally on the make" she flips over clowns and orderlys.

In describing this, I forgot to say that I attach the little platform to my wheelchair through the macic or conduit and hose clamps, since my legs work and I dont need the footplates, I still can "walkaround" but seated

Later

Wilmoe (Lloyd)
