Default sorry about the spam

To anyone who received a private message that contained spam, I apologize. The person responsible has been banned and rest assured that even if you got an email notification of his message, there was no way for him to access your email address. Just don't respond to him.

The anti-spam measures I enacted a few months ago mostly defend against the automated kind, but occasionally a very determined human will get through. I do have a tool that will prevent new accounts from sending private messages until they've made a few legitimate posts, but I had turned it off at the requests of some new members who found it difficult to understand. I can turn it back on if necessary, what does everyone think?

Again, I'm sorry one got through the cracks.

Princess you are the most gracious host on any of the internet groups I have been on (and thats saying something) don't worry I like the idea of making new members post and make sure that they are real to the forum, and not pretenders or worse. I feel safe letting my son participate on here with out looking over his sholder constantly. I would like to thank you and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

We appreciate your:
sensitivity and discretion
hard work and fun work
humor and downright silliness
boldness coupled with tact
creativity and wild imagination
good looks (as far as I can tell)
great long nose and very large ears
great taste in perfume
beautiful balloon crown
money

Others may want to add to the list.
Just don't let it go to your head. For all I know you may be a lazy, beer drinking, soap opera watching, multi tattood, scantily clad, shaved head, ex heavy weight wrestler. But I rather doubt it.

Hmm Gladman, at least one of your litany of compliments is very far from the truth, but since it's bad form to contradict someone when they're complimenting you I'll leave it to you to guess which ones.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must go powder my excessively long nose and tape my ears back...

Don't be to worried about it. Spammers are like mosquito's. Is it only one it's irritating so you smack him. If you have loads of them they make it into a hell. So if there are loads you have to put up a mosquitonet and then even with the best mosquitonets there are still a few (and it's a mystery how they do it) that get through.

Anyway its not only yours but also our responsibility to protect ourselves against and learn to live with these nasty insects.
