What does a clown smell like?

That was the question from one of my daughters a few weeks back...and I thought about it...off we went looking for the perfect clown smell....since i am such a happy clown...it had to be a happy smell...we found ourselves at the Hot Topic store at the mall (they have some neat thigh high clown like socks) and there it was...cupcake perfume...it smelled heavenly...it is called Cupcake Cult I believe (i did not judge the name)
The next day my other daughter had a birthday party and someone gave her Jessica Simpsons perfume...cupcake and candy! It was also good...not as good as the cupcake cult...
So my question is...do any of you do something special before a gig to smell like a clown....deoderant aside?

i think i smell like Grease paint i dont put anything on besides my useal Tag body spray (BTW the Commercals For Axe & Tag Lies i use Both)

Cinnamon cookies are a happy smell.......

I smell like soap. Does that count as a happy smell? (after work, I'll be smelling more like teriyaki sauce and noodles.)

But seriously, I find that just smelling very very clean is the best thing. Some people has troubles with perfumes and scented things, and giving out headaches is not something clowns usually do....
And lots of deoderant. Costumes are hot. Especially if they're polyester. And body oder is, again, not a pleasant thing.




But I still say cinnamon cookies are a happy smell................

i usually get headaches from smells as well....but these smell just like cupcakes....no headache for me....lol....
and Willace the Clown...it's probably a good thing that those sprays don't work like the commercials! LOL...that might be a sight for the kiddies! "local clown gets mobbed by local women...looked like a sceane from the discovery channel!"

My wardrobe usually smells like fabric softner. (I wash it after every gig.) I spritz a small amount of cologne on too.

Well I use it but you don't smell it but if I don't use it you do smell something else. Something I prefer not to smell.

I don't know about you all but I usually smell nuthing but baby powder forever. I use deoderant, but I powder my torso before adding the costume it keeps me cooler and keeps the BO order to a minimum
