my first cards were totally hand drawn on the fly on the way out to Indiana Last Month - and on the back was the notation " A Sooper Special Soovenir Card to commemorate MY Debut at the Parade of a Thousand Clowns". Since they were going to look home-made, I went the whole route, and had my friend's 6 yr old son color in all the flowers by hand, and I stuck on stickers.
The card I got that I liked was like a piece of Monopoly money on the face with of course the clown in the picture portrait, with the more mundane info on the back.
I am going to make my first set of official cards when I return from Missoula in two weeks. So I also am greedy for ideas.
And BTW Princess, about that die cut, it might not be so expensive. Those scrapbookers out there have generated a whole market for die-cutting gizmos. Maybe there is a jester hat for one of those machines and you could die cut your own ... just a clown thought ....
This isn't a card but it is my promo postcard for next weeks activities in Missoula, Montana:
Was too short of time to trim off the edges better from how the printer printed them on the laser postcards - always a wee bit off kilter. There are a gazillion things that didn't quite work out on this, but since I had never done Corel PhotoPaint before, it was OK - for a the first time anyway.
