I read what was there but I didn't understand it. At first I thought it was about creating a website about Denver listing the "top 5" places in many different categories, and that the ranking changed as used added their input. Then I read something about traveling the country concentrating on areas that are somewhat disconnected from the regular overwhelming nature of the web. I think I missed a transition somewhere. Interesting though.

Yeah they really limited the ampount of info you could put up.

Basically the idea is that you as a user could create a list of the five best magic shops in your area based on your criteria. You would be given 250 words per item to explain.

Then other users could read your list and agree or disagree with your ratings. As the ratings where adjusted the list would change and comments would be added.

The full scope is to have google maps integrated into the program allowing people visiting an area to find the best places to go as rated via the internet by people who have been to a place.

Works for me. Sounds like a good idea. Google loves to play with ranking criteria and here John Q Public would be helping the process along. If the Knight thing doesn't work out try pitching the idea to Google.

I think the idea itself is fantastic. I think, however, that Google will point you to Google earth and possibly your idea as a feature of that program in a future release. There are already hundreds of thousands of Google Earth users, and most enjoy searching for things and listing things, so your idea seems like a natural off-shoot.

Best of luck with it, Dylan.
