Eddie,
I feel so sad for you; I will definitely pray for you. I am going to bring it up in the Clown Chat tonight, and make a proposal that each one of us donates to a brother clown, like $5.00. It would not break us and would help you out, at least to get some groceries.
Actually, my husband's job ended at the end of last year, and he has had piddly jobs ever since. God has actually met our needs, but He is humbling us because our income has dropped about $50,000 in the last 3 years. Not all at once, but steadily. We used to spend money like a drunken sailor, but not now. We are quite frugal, and have learned to live within our means. God is really working on our patience. He is a jealous God and I think He felt we were putting other things before Him. He has steadily met our needs, though, and we count our blessings each day. I just keep asking for more patience ... maybe he gets upset when I ask for patience, "RIGHT NOW".
OK, enough about me. I will definitely pray for you and I think we, as fellow clowns should be able to help you out. As I said, I will mention it tonight in the clown chat. Hopefully, some will find compassion and donate to your cause. The only reason I mentioned MY problems, is to show you that I really understand your feelings, and to encourage you to keep going. Each new day brings a new possibility.
Take care ... and keep looking UP. He wants to help you, but you have to ask Him. In the poem "Footprints" this is where he wants to carry you.
God bless you and please keep us all up to date with your situation. You will be in my thoughts and prayers from now on. Promise!
