Yes the police in Ka-zoo have been very busy. The news also reported that just before that story, that the police were called to a daycare where a three-year-old was resisting a rest.

You folks have me falling off my chair laughing every night. I once tried to become a stand up comedian, but I always seemed to make a fool out of myself...(joke)

I wanted to send my daughter in Texas a few pieces of furniture for their new home. I stopped by our local long distance moving company and talked to the dispatcher about how much it would cost to ship a chair, and a large mirror. The guy looked at me, said.. 'I don't know madam, I'd have to sait and look into it first'.

Yeah and then he came back and said sorry, I can't do the chair, but I can give you a break on the mirror.

We interupt this PUN GAME for an important message.....
Please join me in remembering a great icon. Veteran Pillsbury spokesman, The Pillsbury Doughboy, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a slightly greased coffin.
Dozens of celebrities turned out, including Mrs. Butterworth, The California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, The Hostess Twinkies, Captain Crunch, and many others.
The graveside was piled high with flours as longtime friend Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing the Doughboy as a man who "never knew how much he was kneaded." Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, still, as a crusty old man, he was considered a roll model for millions.
Toward the end it was thought he'd rise once again, but he was no tart.
Doughboy is survived by his second wife, Play Dough. They have two children and one in the oven.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
Now back to the pun off......

I haven't been here lately, partly because I wasn't feeling well, and partly because I was helping Blondie. I feel so bad for her ... she was driving the other day and was knitting a gift for Christmas and a policeman pulled up alongside her and, realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled, "PULL OVER!"
"NO!" she said, "IT'S A SCARF!" Now her surprise is out of the bag.

My mom read your post Nettie, and said to tell you. "Many everyday phrases and common words relate to knitting, needlework, and sewing terms. Go ahead! Tear into them and see how many answers you can "piece together!"
