That must have been next door to the place I went; I saw a a statue of Soapy Sales at Madame Two-Suds.

When I was a young clown, I used to use soap to remove my clown make-up. It took forever. In fact, it seemed like a never-ending cycle! Believe me, it was no lathering matter.

A salesman sold me some clothes pins, told me they were "top of the line". They wouldn't even hold the clothes up! Boy did he hang me out to dry.

Hang on Fifi, did you remember to buy the clothesline? It is a breeze to assemble.
