daddy daughter date night...etal...
Okay...I've been doing my research...
I've struggled with what do offer as an after dinner activity for the mother/son event...For the father/daughter...the couples will each make a teddy bear that the father will present to the daughter...
I thought of maybe some sort of murder mystery type of things for the mother/son...but A)its EXPENSIVE and B)the age group I wanted to focus on may not grasp the concept...I even had one company tell me they could change things to make it more of a jewelry heist and not a "murder" type of thing...
I've toyed with the idea of a magician...I think the boys would be fascinated by it...what about moms...? I'm thinking boys ages 5-12...I could probably do it myself...but I know I'll be running around making sure everything else is good to go so I'd probably hire someone else...
I'm thinking $50.00 per couple...It seems really high to me....But I'm not finding a decent meal for less than $10 per person...and the costs associated with the supplies...and incidentals...such as beverages...any decor...etc...And the object here is to make a little money...
What do you all think...?
I still think the murder mystery dinner would be a big hit...but it would be a pricier ticket for participants...especially if dinner is involved...so I may reserve that one for adult couples...
I've also come up with karaoke nights...
Contemplating movie nights...not sure how to show movies that would appeal to different age groups...and I'd have to research the licensing stuff
Also thinking of offering a balloon twisting class...(everyone asks how do you do that whenever they get a balloon animal...) I'm thinking maybe a 7 session class...
Maybe a chef to do cooking demonstrations (bachelors, single moms, cooking for couples...etc...) not sure how tough this would be without a formal kitchen...I think I can rent or purchase for cheaply inexpensive burners and such...but I'm not so sure how portable I can make a sink for cleaning...
Can you guys think of any other ideas? Just trying to drum up more ideas...for revenue...
