Default Easy Button

My husband brought home a staples "That was easy" button, the kind that you see on T.V. (no, he does not work @staples). I need your input on how I might use this thing in a routine or walk around...
It's so much fun after completing a really stressful day or task that requires more than normal exertion.. just give it a little push and you have to laugh about it!!!

Carry it in your magic case. Your first trick doesn't do so well, you second trick doesn't do so well, as you are starting your third thick you pull out your easy button, make sure everybody recognizes it and set it on your case, give it a nice big push and complete the magic trick. Thereafter use it anytime you have a situation where you have buily up an expectation that something might go wrong (including that pesky volunteer.)

That's a good idea.

Hey, Fitzwilly, when we were at Midwest Roundup, we were in a class you were teaching, and you said something about using a big balloon for the happy birthday child, but I forgot how you explained it? Can you please refresh my spider webbed memory?

And please don't tell me just to click my red shoes together ... I don't have RED SHOES.

Qualatex makes a balloon sized 6 inches in diameter and about 4 feet long, thus it is called a 646, printed with "Happy birthday." I pull one out but Fitzwilly has forgotten how to blow up a balloon. He looks into his book of instructions and sees that he needs a hose. I bring up the birthday child and they swing their arms and make a "Whooshing" noise to move the air into my ear and out my mouth into the balloon. Of course they need the audience to help with the sound effects. When that doesn't work Fitz checks the book again and sees that we need a pump. Another volunteer comes up and does deep knee bends while saying "Omm-pah, omm-pah" of course this needs the audience's help as well. When it still doesn't work Fitz checks the book one more time and realizes that he needs one more volunteer. Usually an adult, either a father or grandfather works well. What part of the machine are they you ask? They are an old crank. They spread their arms out like a big wheel type of crank and commence to make creeking noises. this time the balloon inflates and makes a very "Kodak moment" with Fitzwilly, the birthday child, sibling or friend and Grampa.

Oh yeah ... that all sounds familiar. Thank you so much. I'm sending you an email ... I have some questions.

I got your email. I will need to check in on just about every point. I will get back to you, but it never hurts to remind me once in a while in case I forget. Thanks for your interest.

Great idea...I just pushed the button and after a day like, well, today...I still smiled.
Thanks again Padre.

Default That was Easy!

I have one of those 'easy' buttons from Staples too and I love it. I like to keep it out when I am face painting or balloon twisting and now and then when I finish a design I press it (especially if they asked for a design that was a big challenge for me to do). It always makes them smile. I do wish it was a bit louder so I'm not limited where I can use it. If it's a big loud crowd then you can't hear it very well or at all.

Thanks Blossom what a good idea, I will use it at the Latina festival here in Indy, the Diabetes, Relay for Life walks, and at schools.
I'll bet it does get alot of smiles, especially from kids, my grandson really loves it! (He's 8)
