I need your input ...
I would like to introduce a "Clown of the Year" award for our alley for 2008, and I would like to tell the other clowns about this award on January 12 at our holiday dinner. (We have our holiday dinner AFTER the holidays because we're all too busy DURING the holidays.)
I would like them to have incentive to work toward this award, and go by different categories. Maybe on a point system ... I'm not sure of the details, and that's where you more advanced clowns can help me.
Do any of your alleys have this and if so, what is the criteria for someone to get this award? Also, what is awarded ... a prize, certificate ... what?
Please give me your input on this ... it's never been done in our alley for 20+ years ... this is a first for us. I've heard of other alleys doing this, because the person who won the award was really excited about it. She got a certificate in a frame. It was over two years ago when I talked to her about this.
Anyway, I would really like some ideas so I can suggest it at our meeting/dinner on January 12.
Thanks!!!!!
