Why did it take so long for the Smurfs to come to the US? Hmm ... maybe it was all men for awhile and they didn't know how to get here and wouldn't stop and ask for directions. It wasn't until Smurfette came along and led them to the US. Ya THINK??? Yayyyyyy for Smurfette!!
