I'm so sad ...
I have a very good friend who has been my main clown influence. She taught me most of my clown stuff, and we also got to be really GOOD friends. I talked to her on Monday night ... she is now living in Arizona because she moved out there to be with her family when she lost her eyesight ... she said she is in hospice now and the doctors have given her about 2-3 days to live. I had to say good bye to her on the phone ... you talk about something very very TOUGH. I was sobbing the whole time, but I don't know if she knew that.
Anyway, her clown name was Petunia ... her real name is Helen ... and I would just like to ask you for prayers for her ... that her transition from this life to the next one is an easy one for her. She was a pillar in our town and probably the most known clown here for many years and taught lots of classes. Our alley is the Michiana Clowns and she was one of the founders 22years ago.
Just to show you what a cute clown she was, here is her picture.

My prayers are going out for her family and friends. Petunia was a special person and a special clown. I had no idea the end was so close for her. She will be dearly missed. Thank you for passing this information on Nettie.

Thank you all for your condolences. I talked to her daughter today and she is still breathing on her own, even though her oxygen has dropped to way below normal. The nurse said she has been there for 20 years and has never seen someone keep breathing on her oxygen level. They are all amazed. She is breathing 2 breaths per MINUTE!
Today is her daughter's birthday, and if there is a way that someone can control their last days, that would be the reason ... so this didn't happen on her daughter's birthday.
Also, because she is/was a stubborn little thing.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends condition. Utter-happiness and joy in glory await in the next life, though they may bring heart-felt sadness and tears in this life.

What is it with Northerners that put sugar in cornbread?? Thats not cornbread! When you put sugar in cornbread it becomes CAKE!!!
Put the sugar in the tea! Thats where it belongs! I like my tea to be so sweet that I can pour it on my pancakes if I run out of syrup!
