Default Clown Music

Does anyone know a site where you can download clown or circus music for free? I would like to put a CD together for our shows.

Hey Bumbles, how ya be?
I can mail you 3 cd's if you like. Mail them back when you are through with them, okay?
1.) Clown and Midway Calliope Music; vol-1 and vol-2
2.) Steam calliope music.
They are available at Amazon.com you can check'em out there. Let me know what you want to do, okay?
I'd burn you some copies but some of my equipment took a dump on me.
Just need an address to mail to.

I like using the cd's to set a circus mood. Kind of makes everything grooovey. Calliope music can get on your nerves if you have to listen to it on a daily basis, but once in a while is really cool.

Later...

I can't send you my Dad's CDs, but I can tell you the titles of them so you can try to find them.

Sounds of the Circus Circus Music Music For Clowns

The Grand Old Circus Band

Circus Clown Calliope! Vol. 2

You might even be able to use Spanish Bull Fight music. Believe it or not, if you go with the stuff that is less obvious, Stripper music makes great clown music (it has built in places for things to happen). You might even try old Rag songs like the 12th St Rag or the Pineapple Rag....

Your cd's are on their way! I sent a message to your email address also. Harpoetta has a great idea with the Bull Fight and Stripper music. Wish she hadn't mentioned "stripper" reminds me of an old flame "Frenchy" oh well, hope she's well...
Have you thought about Halcyon Music? Came upon it when searching for Circus Music. Tunes like "Hilo Hattie" and other real interesting tunes that were popular circa early 1900's. If nothing else the story of Hilo Hattie is worth the time to read up on a bit...

I am a fan of using eastern European Music. I think bands like "17 Hippies" are he best. They have this great bizzar sound and are mostly instrumental.

There is a hour long clip of them at the Kennedy Centers Millennium stage on the Kennedy center website.
