Default Painting(s)

Those of you who have read my introduction know why I'm here in the first place and what the title of this thread hints at.

If you didn't read the intro, let me save you a lot of text and tell that I came here to make a work in progress less one-dimensional in concept. My cousin is due to give birth in what should now be about six months. The girl is crazy about clowns and is decorating her baby's room with a whole bunch of clown crap. She wants me to do a painting of a clown to hang up on the wall. Such is the plight of the family hobby-artist, to be forever doomed to take requests and get no money from it.
Oy.

Last night in chat, I had one or two people ask me how it was coming along and what it would look like.
Well, the biggest change so far is that the single painting has evolved into a three part set. I have already put down the sketch and color scheme of the first part.

So...who is honestly curious and wants to hear more? Or am I just posting this for no reason?

Ahem.... We're still waiting to see the sketches.
Seriously you are welcome here, and we are glad to help you. If other people would take the time to get into a clowns head once in awhile.....My brain might not slide around so much!
Cheers,
Scruffy

Ah, ah , ah...no pictures until it's finished. It's one of my quirks.
I'd gladly describe it, but I need to know that people are interested. I try not to talk about what I do and then find out that nobody really cares. It's mortifying.

A clown tryptich...kewl.

Yes, tell us more, please. I'd like to hear a little about what these characters are going to look like.

I am quite interested. My grandmother was very artistic and I inherited the interest but have not yet developed the skill set (although it is growing slowly).

And to be honest I am used to talking about things and then finding out that people are not really interested.
