I figured now might as well be the time to bow out and ship out. I've learned everything I needed to, so there's really no reason for me to be here. In fact, I have apparently confused this forum for my regular intellectual think tank forum that I frequent. I would invite you to check it out, but something tells me that a majority of the minds here are not open (or strong) enough for the discussions that go on there.... though I think that Jolly Well might enjoy it.
This is not to say that I don't recognize and value those who are intelligent here.

Well, thanks, Scruffy. I think it's best that I go, though. I've learned all there is to learn and I don't want to stir up any more drama than I already have. Besides, a non-clown on a clown forum just gets a little weird.
I'd rather just see this forum remaining a happy forum and spare Princess some trouble. Easy-going and light hearted isn't really my style, I like to exercise my brain. I naturally try to get deep and thoughtful conversations and, apparently, this isn't the place for that.

Cal, we have enjoyed you being here. Lately there has been a little dust in the air but that is bound to happen anythere from time to time. Given the option I would prefer that you stay and continue to participate. If you do decide to take a break, you must remember that being new you only have a limited amount of vacation time built up and we will expect you back.

Sure, some people have disagreed with your posts, but in general everyone has remained civil and calm. (Ok, yes I had to step in once, but then the discussion seemed to get back on track.) I don't think you've stirred up an excessive amount of drama, I think you've started some excellent, relevant conversations. The focus here will probably always be how to make things light and happy, as you say, but at the same time we must live in the world.

I for one would prefer to see you continue here. If anyone was seriously unhappy with you, I'm sure I would have gotten an earful by now.

every one is welcome here no matter what you have to say that is the point of a forum but I dont think we are the problem it seems like you may be the real problem I am sorry this forum isnt big enough to accomadate your ego I am basing this only on this post and its only an opinion we need all kinds here so you should stay and I hope you do

It's not a question of making enemies (although there are a few people here who are quite silly and need to grow up) or a case of a large ego.
This has everything to do with the fact that I've gotten every bit on information that I came here for in the first place, and the fact that this forum isn't my style. I prefer intellectual intercourse.
Why stay here?
I don't have anything left to learn.
I'm far from being a clown in any sense of the word.
I need intellectual stimulation.
It's better for me to stay with my regular think tank forums than to bother everyone here.

Now that I've laid these misconceptions (thank you, e-mail alerts) to rest, I'm out of here.
