Willace, I just read this article and I wondered if he has seen your video

Inmate leaves toilet paper rose after jail escape

VAN BUREN, Ark. - Crawford County authorities say an inmate escaped the county jail and left behind a rose fashioned out of toilet paper because he felt sorry for breaking out.
Luis Camacho-Mendoza was recaptured a day later on Wednesday in a Van Buren home after police received a tip. Investigator Ken Howard said Camacho-Mendoza was found hiding in a closet in a pile of clothes with a pillowcase over his head.
"But he wasn't hiding too good because you could see the outline of his head in the pillow case," Howard said. "We all grabbed him pretty quick and he didn't seem to be resisting."
Authorities said Camacho-Mendoza was in jail on drug charges and was expected to be deported to Mexico by immigrations officials.
In his escape, Camacho-Mendoza broke open a lock on a kitchen door using a tool made from two screwdrivers, authorities said. Camacho-Mendoza worked in the kitchen.
When the inmate was discovered missing, authorities also found the flower, Howard said.
"When we asked him about that, he said he felt sorry for the captain for escaping," Howard said. "(The flower) looked pretty nice."

Floating paper rose to real rose

What you need:

Real Rose,
Invisible Thread,
Tape,
Lighter.

Take a strand of invisible thread and attach a piece of tape to each end. Attach one end to any prop (wall, chair, table, anything) and roll the other tape end into a small ball.

Put the rolled up ball in your mouth. Step back until the thread is taut.
Make a rose out of your flash paper and place it on the invisible thread. (you can manipulate the rose by moving)

Described for a righty. If you're a lefty - reverse

With your right side facing the audience and your left side concealing the rose (in a pocket if you have one large enough - here is a good chance to use your poacher's pouch if you have one that has access through your pocket!).

With your right hand, reach for your lighter (use something other than a disposable lighter for effect - Zippo varieties look good).

Bring the flame near the paper rose but do not ignite it until you get control of the real rose - misdirect as needed.

Light the paper rose and bring the real rose into position of where the paper rose once was to complete the switch.
