Default Firefox 3.0

The day some of you may have been possibly waiting for has arrived! As an avid user of Firefox I have been looking forward to Tuesday's download date and finally got Firefox 3.0 tonight.

I have been a fan of Firefox for years now and have always downloaded the latest version. But just to offer some advice to those interested in 3.0 I wanted to say that it would not properly save over the last version. I had to uninstall the previous one (losing all my bookmarks) and reinstall 3.0 but I am really impressed with the speed and security of this version. It uses a ton less RAM and runs so quick!

Not clown related I know but for those of you that have been using IE or the old Firefox I can not more highly recommend Firefox 3.0! I have never had a problem with Spyware with FF and this version gets rid of all my issues with the last. Give Firefox 3.0 a chance and I bet you'll switch!

Clown Star

I agree! Give it a try. I've used it for years and prefer it over all other browsers. Upgraded to the new version yesterday, its terrific!

I don't own a mac myself but Firefox 3.0 claims to be 2-3 times faster than Safari. I would say it is at least that much faster than Firefox's last release. Some googling would probably turn up Mac user reviews too.
