Does anyone here watch Scrubs? If so do you love it as intensely as I do? XD It’s not usually the kind of show I would normally go for, being addicted to cartoons, horror movies and sci-fi... but scrubs won me over a lot of years ago when my fiancé and myself sat through the entirety of the season 1 DVD all in the same sitting.... it was awesome!

I love getting into TV series' that way. Me and my girlfriend rent the first two DVDs (usually 6 episodes) when we want to get into a show. After watching the first 3 seasons of Lost that way it was tough to wait a week between episodes for the 4th season! I've just let them build up online and will watch a few hours of the new season at some point. Ok, rambling at 5:45am. Sleep time. Now. For me. Still rambling. Ok stopping. Ok guess not. No really. Ok. Night.

Yeah - alot of my favourite shows I got into by chance... The whole reason I am even into Scrubs was because my flatmate at the time told me to watch it, so me and the boyfriend gave it a go, otherwise I would have never thought to watch it of my own accord.
It's odd how things like that happen.

Didn't realize there were so many different translations of Dumas works. The 1984 publishing by Bantam Books and translated by Lowell Blair did it for me. Wish I could read French.

What is the last thing you ate today?
Rotisserie chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes and peas with a chocolate milkshake.
What was the last thing you dreamt about?
I don't often remember my dreams, but a couple of nights ago I had a scary dream about falling off ramps, getting stuck in the middle of the street and hit by a truck, etc.
What is your favourite kitchen appliance?
Speaking practically, I'd say the refrigerator, but in terms of sheer fun it would be the ice cream maker.
What are your all time favourite colours?
Blue and black.
What's your favourite TV show?
Right now the only show I watch regularly is The Big Bang Theory, though in the past I've enjoyed MASH, Ikkyu-san, The Muppet Show, Dinosaurs, Northern Exposure, Star Trek TOS, TNG and DS9, and Firefly. I'm more of a movie person; I'm Netflix's worst nightmare.
What's your favourite book?
In the classics department, you can't beat Jane Austen; she's the woman! On the sci-fi front, my favorite author is Lois McMaster Bujold... mostly for her Vorkosigan saga, but her Chalion series is excellent too, though it's on the fantasy side of the spectrum. Of course there are many more!

Princess - I didn't know you were an Admiral Naismith/Miles fan. I need to double check again, at one point I thought there was still one book in that series I hadn't read. The rest of them I have read a couple of times over the years.
Have you tried David Weber's Honor Harrington Series? I think you would probably really enjoy those as well.
