Question about a sexual fetish (ADULTS ONLY!)

I was wondering how people here felt about the concept of a sexual fetish based around clowns/circus acts etc?

Is it something that would offend most of you here? Is it something you’d find absolutely disgusting, or is it something none of you would overly care about as long as it wasn’t forced onto you?

Have any of you ever thought about clowning in a sexual light? (i.e. dressing as a clown and being sexual with clown concepts).

Just random conversation as I am curious.

I've heard of such things. In particular, I understand that some people have some sort of messy pie in the face fetish. I suppose, like most things, certain segments of society can find fetish in almost anything. So it wouldn't entirely surprise me. Though, since I don't have that fetish, I don't know that I would be able to entirely understand it, either.

I am of the mindset that as long as no living things are hurt or forced into the situation do as you will. A sexual clown fetish is probably no more harmful than any other. Clowns don't correlate with sexual desire for me but if it works for someone else, between two consenting adults, more power to them. I would prefer not to be involved of course, but getting involved in other people's fetishes is probably last on my to do list!

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I was curious about it because (if I am honest... hopefully it wont offend anyone here!) I have a slight tendency towards Coulrophilia since childhood... being attracted to clowns, mimes, jesters and general circus concepts. It’s not the reason why I am a clown, infact I was a clown and loved clowns before the sexual attractions occurred.

I just thought I would share that here as it would be interesting to meet others with a similar perspective.

Don’t worry though, I am not at this forum to instigate anything like this, I just wanted to make this one post, you can consider this topic gone from here on.

Wasn't that the most redicuous thing you ever saw? That CSI episode? That is what I feel like when some people call. Like we are lined up around the room waiting for someone to say "Next". Sorry You have to book me in advance. Calling at 2 pm on a saturday for a 3:30 party just will not work.
And then...well if you saw it I don't really have to go on.

But back to the topic...oh, do I really want to do this? It's not my thing but I agree with the consenting adults view. Would I?...I think any of us who's characters are steeped in the oblivious stupidity would have to have a different character...

I'll keep it short since I just woke up and I doubt that you all want to hear my drowsy ramblings.

I have heard of the clown fetish, yes. It even has a special mention in Mary Roach's "Bonk: the Curious Coupling of Science and Sex."
However, the first time I had heard of it was when a friend told me about Ouchy the bondage clown.
Really, I don't see the overwhelming appeal of the clown fetish, but each to his/her own. That's not to say that I wouldn't give it a try, I let my freak flag fly.
