Default (Piano) Stripping

OK, since there was some talk Thursday night concerning what kind of stripping goes on at my shop, I thought I'd better let you see the final results of a few past projects. Good strippers are hard to find these days.

1860 square grand for museum

refinish of 1906 upright

restored playability

complete rebuild of a beatup 1923

another formerly beat up 1935

What is it with Northerners that put sugar in cornbread?? Thats not cornbread! When you put sugar in cornbread it becomes CAKE!!!

Put the sugar in the tea! Thats where it belongs! I like my tea to be so sweet that I can pour it on my pancakes if I run out of syrup!

Love them. I play piano a little. By far my favorite musical instrument.

Take it off! Take it all off!

(As tim sits down to play stripper music on the restored piano.)

Alright. Don't even get me started. There are lots of great analogies in piano work; Godly and otherwise. Yes, Timothy, even you could learn. Maybe you could get in on some of the you tube instructional clips that I've been toying with................

I play for my own enjoyment and to check out my tunings. Here's my real first love, since 1963, high school sophomore.

1923 carved Czechoslovakian I restored 15 years ago. (this time exposure in no way does the instrument justice)

Oh by the way, here's a picture of my girl in her Pappa's shop. Quite a kid. Needs a baf as usual.
