Default Ukelele

I like your Ukelele Scruffy. Did it take long to make? How does it sound? Do you make them of others? If so I'm interested.

Please Let me know.

Scruffy,

That is AWESOME Dude, You done a fine job. Guitar is basically, ALL I play but did see an affordable Ukelele at Magicians Friend awhile back. Are they hard to play??? If anything I was thinking I could tune it to the same scale as a Guitar and play it like one eh?

Talk at ya soon!

Pu: It took about two months to make. It is made out of mahogany, with a brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It's a lot like a martin uke (The cadillac of the us ones) It sounds great!
Sam: Uke is very easy to play. you can tune it like the first four strings of a guitar (Low to high; dgbe) and use the simplified guitar chords.. If you want a good beginners uke go to www.elderly.com and look at the bushmans. Very nice for the money. the most common uke is the soprano, (the little one like mine.)
If you are interested in one of mine please Pm me.

Scruffy, It's beautiful, wonderful workmanship. Every thought about show casing some of you work at music festivals?

You need to get Dave to put sound in here so you can leave us a sample of your music.

Sue,
Getting ahold of Dave is about imossible. I have yet to have an email returned.
As far as showcasing my instruments, I have thought about it; but, thats about all. The ukes don't require a lot of space to build, and my shop is a lousy set up. I've made guitars, mandolins,a few dulcimers,a banjo, and now the uke. I have an instrument repair buiness that demands alot of time, plus work.
I believe I can produce the ukes pretty easily, which is one reason I built this one... That, and since we bought this house seven years ago, I can't find my old one!

Jamz, let me know when your ready, I ave some sweet, finely aged mahogany with your name on it!

Scruffy, we're having the Legend's festival here this weekend, it's a bluegrass festival held every year at Andrew Jackson's State Park and that what made me think of show casing at some festival, because they're going to be all different kinds of entertainers there, good luck building them.
