Well, I just bought a break-away wand, and it broke (not in a good way). So I guess I didn't need that

Do you mean like a forum where a clown could give an un needed item to another clown in need? That sounds good. I think it is a great idea!

I like that idea too - donating un-needed items to others that might could benefit.

I have 2 things I bought & never or rarely used. One is my first wig - the curly Circus Circus in purple. It wasn't the one I originally wanted but they were out of that one & I was in a crunch for time, so I settled. Needless to say, I only wore it like 3 times before getting the Cindy wig in Grapevine that i have now (and LOVE )
The other item is a pack of grease crayons. I thought they would make doing the heart & music notes on my face easier, but it's not for me.

"Luckily I found this forum and did a bit of research before hand , so I am not falling into the same traps as some. I am originaly a face painter so face painting supplies is a totally different story! I have a feeling most of it will go bad before I ever use it all."
Me too!

I'm new so it's good to see what not to buy, lol. I do have a pair of big sunglasses and I did wear them the other day. I have sensitive eyes and I wore them while going to an event.
I've seen those shoes but I love mine that I made too much. I used the croc like shoes and hot glues flowers and ribbons on them. They are so comfy! and pretty!!

Well, let's see ... what did I have to have when I first started clowning ... I had 6 pairs of vinyl shoes, some socks in every color that were like crew socks ... not cute like the ones I wear now ... a balloon pump ... I'm just glad I didn't pitch that ... now that I'm like a balloon dog expert ... if there is ever a need for lots of balloon dogs ... I'm so there. The list goes on ... feather flowers, Woodstock puppet, tucan puppets in every color they come in from Oriental Trading, a frog puppet (I might still use that one someday), some of that lightning stuff ... I'm sure there is lots more. Plus ... my original costumes and some since have all been sold. Oh yeah, I also used to wear a long strand of yellow beads! What was I thinking? Sometime when I get the nerve, I'll post a picture of my first Nettie Belle attempts. Maybe around Halloween time, when it's ok to scare people.

yes that would be nice to help each other out with donations---the clown closet is mainly sale items--which is good--but somethings just can't be sold--but donating them would really help
