Clown Pie Lets stick to what we are here for people

I dont know about anyone else but I joined here to meet new friends and learn about clowning. I have made some wonderful friends! you know who you are. But I am tired of reading or hearing stuff in the news! or political issues! I am here because I want to make a difference in a childs life. I have and I will be posting pics of my adventures soon. I am even interacting with kids that have been scared of clowns. I need help learning this great art and I have found my home here at clown forum. Lets learn off of each other. Can't we all just get along?

I agree with Bonkers. I think political and personal problems do not belong on this forum. There are other forums out there for those type of discussions. I am here to discuss and read about all aspects of clowning. If something in your past relates to why you clown, that is sharing. Unless the topic relates in some way to clowning it is of no interest to me.

Clown Cafe
Pull up a chair, have a slice of pie, and chat about anything else.

There is a lot of clowning related articles that go onto the boards here. Magic reviews and information; even a link to a free download to a David Blaine ebook. Fitzwilly has posted enough balloon instructions lately to keep everyone busy and there are even more in a compiled database in the balloon section of the forum.

However, as the title above shows, there is indeed room for casual conversation as well. You are by no means, obligated to click on the link and read it if you do not wish to - certainly understandable. To those who want or need to share "non-clown" conversation, maybe they have nobody else to share it with, or need some advice behind the anonymity that a forum offers. Our moderators do an excellent job at removing spam or offensive material, but there is a person behind every clown - sometimes they need to talk life...

just my $.02

There are a lot of people out there in the big world who just love to have dicussions (debate). I enjoy reading most of the posts. I may not agree with everything that is written, but it always makes me think. Keep up the debates, and I'll read them (at least most of them) I may even put in my two cents occasionally.

I am a little confused. I did not notice very many topics that were not on clowning. There may be 2 or 3 that are a little more personal than most, but they can all be related back to entertaining and the entertainer. In fact Bonkers, I think you have even gone there.

I agree with Jolly Well. Clowning is a human condition and there fore involves all things human. Keeping your eye on the ball is one thing. letting the ball hit you in the eye is unnessasary.

Your right I did. I fell into a trap of someone saying I need advice I gave my advice and I was told how I was wrong. Then I said what I felt on another subject and was bashed. I came to this forum to make friends. Clown Friends. I have made several good Connections here and Some well they would make alot of money if they were sitting at the dunking booth. I feel that the problems of everyday life need to be left to the profestionals. I by no means am a Shrink. I am here to have fun and talk Clown! YEE HAW

I've had the same experience with some of the other six forums participate in. I've just quit some of them because of the offensive/defensive/downright crude posts by some of the "post hogs" as I call them who, seem to have a need to answer every thread with some sharp intellectual gibberish. In the beginning I used to PM Princess after many of my posts in search of reassurance that I hadn't offended anyone. She gave me my needed pats on the back, and even a couple of good slaps (on the back) I've grown to love this forum because of the openness that everyone brings. This is a friendly site which means we're among friends. Clowns, although they may appear to be self centered, always have their observers feelings in front of their own. Healthy interaction is always welcome and refreshing as long as we don't bring a soap box to stand on.
