The Power of a Smile
For anyone with Creative Clowning --
There is a poem on the first page of the book. It starts out: "It costs nothing, but creates much." No credit is given as to the author of the quote. I've searched the internet, but came up with nothing. Anyone know if this is just an anonymous quote, or who should receive the proper credit?
Thanks!

I'll have to dig out my book. If we don't have any luck we can contact Tony Blanco.

It cost nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home; fosters goodwill in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is a rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, bor-rowed or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anyone till it is given away.
And if, in the hurly-burly bustle of today’s business world, some of the people you meet should be too tired to give you a
smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours? For nobody needs a smile so much, as those who have none left to give.
-Author Unknown
This poem has show up in dozens of publications (hundred or thousands of websites likely), and is always tagged as Author Unknown. It's unfortunate that the author cannot be given credit, but also had never came forward seeking acknowledgement. Perhaps the poem is his or her gift of a smile to us all.

I never knew he (or is it she) was a Minnesotan!
Actually, I know the author. Someone who goes by "Soumynona."
