You give the dove only as much food as it can eat in 5 minutes, this keeps the dove from getting fat. [Markie]: she acted like we'd totally betrayed her and our friendship and quit talking to us [Markie]: this is a girl i'd known since she was teeny-tiny (like 8) and tessa had known at least like 3 years [tim]: ah, such a shame [Markie]: i mean c'mon, to just quit talking to us [Markie]: i mean.... nobody told her she couldn't have a relationship with elliott [Markie]: lol [Markie]: actually now that i think about it, if she'd had a relationship with elliott that'd have made our whole friendship very awkward [Markie]: and for the first time [Markie]: i think i understand how she felt [Willace-the-Clown]: :down: [Markie]: what should i do when i see her? [Markie]: just before they left a little under a year ago [Markie]: i've talked to her little sister and her parents almost every week [Markie]: but not her [Markie]: and that was just an attempt to talk to her [Markie]: its been over a year since we really talked [Markie]: since she found out what was going on between her older "brother and sister" as we called each other [Willace-the-Clown]: tim left [Markie]: aww [Markie]: when i actually type this out i think i know how she feels [Markie]: we were siblings in God's eyes, we acted like siblings, we treated each other like such, we had an amazing friendship and despite how much younger her and elliott were we all hung out together [tim]: slap her? [Willace-the-Clown]: I donno people usely jsut stop talking to me i dont know why but i lways know its my fault [Markie]: and then... yeah [tim]: well,s ay you're sorry, maybe something good will come of it [tim]: ah ok [Markie]: ironically, not much after bree quit talking to us, tessa and i got in a huge fight and went months without talking [Markie]: though we're really good friends again now [tim]: who is elliot? [Markie]: with no hint of any kinda relationship [Markie]: a kid [Markie]: there was me, tessa, bree, and elliott [Markie]: me and tessa being the old people and bree and elliott being the young teens LOL [Markie]: and we all basically existed together at church functions and parties and everything else as one unit [tim]: willace, just keep finding good friends to talk with, they're out there [Markie]: like siblings lol [Markie]: until me and tessa turned into something more than "sisters" [Markie]: do you know what i wish i could do? [Markie]: a close relationship needs to develop with a good friendship and emotional depth [tim]: that line is classic will [Markie]: though not such a close tight-knit friendship circle that a relationship coming out of it will ruin everything [Markie]: [tim]: that's rough, Markie [tim]: see, willace, love ain't worth it! [Willace-the-Clown]: nope clowning is life if i cant clown i might as well kill my self [tim]: they want you to have "open availability" when you are applying. Once you have the job they might be willing to negotiate over it, but until you get hired if you make conditions about when your not available they just don't want to deal with it [tim]: well I'd rather you clown than kill yourself, so I'm suggesting that you stop clowning, but you might have to find a way to make the clowning work for you around other obligations like job [tim]: you could still do both just maybe not at all the same times as now [tim]: I meant I'm NOT suggesting that you stop clowning, sorry bout that the not didn't get typed somehow. I got ahead of myself I guess [tim]: if you had to give up the clown gigs you have now you would most likely find others anyway [Willace-the-Clown]: Clowning comes first & its only one day a week [tim]: like I said you could negotiate for that AFTER getting hired but if you make it a condition of getting hired then tehy just won't hire you [Willace-the-Clown]: & the only reason i need out early for thursdys is alley meetings [Willace-the-Clown]: the job is to have money for clowning [tim]: well perhaps that is what you could give them in compromise mondays off for clowning and then work saturday or something but not get out early thursdays [Willace-the-Clown]: & give me green to show around to woman women like money [Willace-the-Clown]: i need to get out early on thursdays cuz of aley meetings [tim]: the way you will get the money is to take the non clown job, then you can invest that in clowning stuff for weekends or whenever you have off [Willace-the-Clown]: clowning first i would walking out dureing work hours to do a clown job [Willace-the-Clown]: I would miss a family members funral for a clown job [Willace-the-Clown]: people got to have prioraties [Willace-the-Clown]: & you cant take off of your real job for any reason [tim]: will, the way many people build up to something like clowning or music full time is to work a day job, commit to it, then work the artistic job nights and weekends or whatever until it is making them enough income and providing stable enough work that they can quit the day job.
