Lipstick on my...teeth!!

Oh Bother, I did my first full day of clowning in full makeup last Thursday and it kept coming off on my teeth. HOW do I prevent that ugly thing from happening again? Then, my eyes were really
hurting after I washed the make up off. Help, please?? I am in my first parade a week from today.Thanks friends!!

You need to stop french kissing the ladies along the route. Then their lipstick won't come off on your teeth.

powder your lips well and this shouldn't happen. swallowing a bit of baby powder isn't as bad as doing a gig all day and then coming home to realize you've got red teeth.

Also use an eye make up remover around your eyes... I get mine from the walmart costmetic section... it seems very similar to baby oil. (it probably is baby oil)... Noxema is just too harsh on the eyes... and it burns... so use a product made to remove makeup from delicate places...

Try to keep saliva off your lips as it will break down the powder and re-wet your makeup.

That would make a good bit. Drooling clown, infatuated, following another "hot" number. (Like, perhaps, a flaming 10.. literally the number 10 on fire!)

Can you just take your teeth out for parades and other places you don't want your makeup to rub onto your teeth?

Years ago, circuses would have had the nerve (and talent) to let their clowns do something like this as a track gag. And Ringling would have afford Bo Derrek to appear, also.
