You did such a lovely job on all of the makers. I love mine as well. You make me so glad I posted this to begin with. This is what the clown forum is all about. GOOD JOB.

Bubbles and I got our bracelet makers and absolutely love them! Duckie, you did such a wonderful job on the painting, it's like you were inside our heads and knew exactly what we wanted. I will be sure to post some pics soon.
Question--What kind of yarn or thread are you guys using for your bracelets? We used some white cotton twine (it was all we had at home) and that made cool surfer looking bracelets. Just curious so we know what to buy to get the best results.
Thanks again, Duckie. I'll be adding your MySpace page to the links section of our site, so we give credit for the creation of our bracelet makers.

I use the twine for older kids. For the younger ones I use plain yarn. Not to thick and not the fuzzy fancy stuff. I knit so I have tried it on a lot of the stuff I have. The fuzzy (eyelash, etc.) make the colors blend and you do not see the striped twisted design. I think that is what makes them pretty. To thick and it gets difficult to work with and does not add anything to the look of it for your trouble.
Besides...the regular yarn is cheaper and often on sale or in the clearence bin.

I love my bracelet maker as well. The paint job ROCKS!!! I haven't really used it yet. 1) because I haven't really been anywhere to use it & 2) because I'm still sorta tryin to figure out how to tie the goffy things without them coming untwisted. Can any of you tech-smart people post a quick tutorial video for us visual learners??
