That's an interesting article, but, HOPEFULLY, I will pass on "stair diving". At my age, it could be "stair falling and I can't get up". No thanks. I'll just be a spectator in this sport.

Not yet, there are pleanty of stairs around but they are all stone and concrete... I am not sure I am quite up to it yet.

I laughed to myself about this thread several times today ... I just keep getting the visual of Pickles and her family hauling their mattress to the bottom of their staircase and each of them taking turns sliding down the steps. It's a hilarious visual!!

Actually, when my kids were younger they used to take sleeping bags and use them to slide down the stairs. Similar to stair-diving, but we called it "stair-sliding."

Actually, I'm embarrassed to admit, I HAVE tried stair sliding, and it is wholesome fun for clowns/people of all ages and athletic abilities. It's safer than stair-diving, too. Enjoy!
