Question Mark How to brighten makeup

I would like to brighten the white and red on my clown face. Anyone have experience with the "bright white" setting powders? and how do you brighten the red? It seems after I power it loses most of it's brightness.

I use the super white, to powder my white, and I like it, as far as the red goes, I use the neutral, it may be a little dull at first but seems to brighten after a few mins. There are many different "reds" out there you also my want to try another brand to see if you can get the color you're looking for. I have two "red" pencils one is brighter than the other. I also remove any white with Q- tips before appliing to my lip.

I like mehron red. They also have a RBR but it has a more orange undertone while the red has a more blue red. After I powder it I sort of re-powder it with my red blush. It seems to brighten it. The blush is from mehron also.

One thing is you dont say if you pat your make up with a damp cloth to remove powder that is left after this will help in brightening the colors

I have used water, but it still seems to dull from the original color. I am using Ben Nye makeup. In one of their pamphlets it states, "to intensify the red apply red magic cake aqua paint over the powered red areas." I may give his a try.
