[Pam-cakes]: ok ill start with the gag,every mornin we practiced it dry and after dinner w/ soap...the first night i was really bad at flinching (how many times do you get to have soap thrown in your face...) so the next night Greg kept hitting me over and over until i am the flinchless queen,,,it was amazing.

[Pam-cakes]: the fight they started..i was the only and first one to volunteer, im proud to say i had my first pie thrown at me by the Greg DeSanto

[Pam-cakes]: no a lot of campers joined in but not everybody...and they used ivory soap for the first time and it KILLED our eyes the shaving cream doesn;t bother me at all, except when it gets in your ears

[Fuzzle Bumpkins]: Hey, some advice from a veteran please???!!! I just started using "Clown white lite." It holds great! but the only thing I've found that'l take it off is vasaline, and that ain't good to use on my skin repeatedly. Any ideas?
[Ty-Me]: Well I had milk and Graham crackers

[Sonshine D Clown]: I use baby oil and Ponds cold cream
[Ty-Me]: Baby oil works too

[Ty-Me]: put it in the palm of your hand and rub around on your face then I wash mine with a wet colth
[Ty-Me]: Then wash face with soap and water
[Scruffy]: I use Clown White Lite. I use Mehton Makeup remover lotion. It comes right off for me.
[Pam-cakes]: i use baby shampoo but i hate the way it smells

[saphireSue]: my brother and his wife are foster parents and they had two little babies obviously not the same age but close enough to not be able to come from the same mom, at a resturant one of the waiters asked about them being twins, my brother first response was yes one got stuck that's why it was so much older the other took a month to come

[Duckie]: Inflate the purple(s/b a black balloon) and twist the nozzle in at the base of the head, make 4 - 3" bubbles for the legs and twist connect back at the neck, then use the rest of the uninflated tail to go back across the back and tie it to the back legs.

[Pickles]: It's not until the end of August. I'm still working on it. I wrote two skits today (with Razzle's help) one for the opening and one for the closing. I still don't know what magic I'll do.

[Pickles]: Originally, I thought I would do a Gospel illusion show the final night. But it seems like such a break in the fumbling, bumbling character I'm portraying all week.
[Pickles]: I need to figure out a way to make the serious patter of most of the Gospel illusions more "pickle-like."
[Willace-the-Clown]: my mom sez she isn't even good enough to be called mediyoker in clowning but i told her she is really good for how long she been doing it & she shouldn't be hard on her self & she gose so your allowed to be hard on your self & I cant

[Pickles]: REx tried to get me to practice sponge balls at the pre-show on Saturday, but it freaks me out too much.

[Pickles]: When you do Gospel illusions, you always seem so wise and knowing. That's not the way Pickles the Clown is.

[Jamz]: Duayne Lauglin does a routine about Gods never ending love where he takes the ball and puts it in his pocket and he always has a ball in his hand and at the end he says if you keeptaking his love it grows and produices a large spong ball

[Pickles]: I was just reviewing this huge book I have of his.
[kellygnc]: if you want to make a trick more fun can you have pickles stumble onto the results like she puts one thing into a change bag and reaches in again and finds another
[Pickles]: Jamz, I just read what you said about why you and your wife married each other. Too funny.
[Jamz]: but if you notice I dont write that stuff until shes sleeping

[Pickles]: Right, Kelly. Stuff like that will make it seem like I'm still the same old Pickles. I need to stumble upon the Truth instead of presenting it as though I know what I'm doing.

[Mr. Dazzle]: eh its not really new i've had it for a few months for my whiteface character (whos costume is still in the works) ... I had time before my gig today so I decided I'd try it out to see how I liked that style and color for RD ... I like thestyle... maybe I'll find another color...
[Pickles]: Unfortunately, I'm going away the week before VBS. I hope to kind of figure out what I'm going to do next week, so I can pack everything with me and practice.

[Mr. Dazzle]: the vest was made by my grandmother... the green pants I had found at goodwill... and I actually bought them about a year before I became interested in clowning. the tshirts and orange baseball t that I sometimes wear under the blue shirt... they both came from my closet.... I already had the top hat and the gloves and I started out wearing normal yellow converse that I already owned
[Mr. Dazzle]: Lewie and B.A. Rascal are still in the works...
[Pickles]: Well...... Goodwill, Salvation Army, Ebay, Costumes by Betty, etc. I'm drooling over a Mooseburger outfit right now. Sigh.....

[Harpoetta]: Harpo came mostly from the local second hand stores, but I got the wig and hat from my Dad's shop, and the tie from my G'pa. I still have to figure out how to get some of my pics on here.
[Jamz]: my tramp came from goodwill and my auguste is mooseburger
[Mr. Dazzle]: Lewie's overalls are being made as well as a bib collar, tiny top hat, and cuffs are being made by a lady that I work with. I hope to eventually buy a yellow striped shirt from Mooseburger
[Mr. Dazzle]: B.A. Rascal is being formed from Goodwill Finds
[Mr. Dazzle]: I would like to have a "Lou Jacobs" style of coat for RD
[kellygnc]: where do you get inspiration for the outfits?

[Pickles]: I REALLY liked being a hobo. I think that Rev. Rooster VanKamp will officially be my second character. He was cheap to clothe, too.

[Harpoetta]: you don't have to use them for anything, it's just a funny thing to pull out of your bag, some people put a dowel rod inside of them to stifen them up and use them for a magic wand

[Pickles]: You can get an empty box of Chicken Helper and put one inside. Bring it for hospital walk-arounds and tell the patient that you have something tastier for lunch than what the hospital is serving.
