Default A New Clown Has Been Born!

I'd like to introduce everyone to my newest Auguste Character

Don't worry ... RD's still here and isn't going anywhere... this is just another option to throw into my pile of multiple personalities... However this is one that I think I will have a lot of fun with!

Meet "Doo-Wop"

He's a 50's themed, singing, swing dancing, Chubby Checker loving Dude that can bring fun clown antics to any and every malt shop, Diner, jukebox joint, or sockhop!

Doo-wah-ditty-ditty dum-ditty-doo this hip cat Doo-Wop is the clown for you!

What is it with Northerners that put sugar in cornbread?? Thats not cornbread! When you put sugar in cornbread it becomes CAKE!!!

Put the sugar in the tea! Thats where it belongs! I like my tea to be so sweet that I can pour it on my pancakes if I run out of syrup!

Thanks Fifi... I was looking through my closet when I saw my bowling shirt and the idea hit me! (In fact the place where it hit still kind of smarts... ouch)... anyways.. I bought this bowling shirt a few years ago when I did Bye Bye Birdie... then Last summer I used it again when I did Grease.. Here is a picture of me as 'Doody' in Grease

So after the idea struck me... I started sketching more of my dumb little sketches Until I came up with a basic idea for a face... (you can see from the finished pics that I tweaked the eye results a bit but the general idea is still there)

Mainly I wanted to use my big yellow clown shoes... Converse are 50's period style shoes anyways... so to tie the yellow in I used a yellow Baseball T under my bowling shirt. I already had the tie, and for the sake of pictures I just put on some black jeans and white socks...Eventually I'd like some black pants (I'm thinking of using scrub pants)with black pokadotted cuffs and some striped socks...

So what do you all think??

VERY cute ... it must be hard for you to go to sleep at night with all those characters in your room ... and probably more waiting to be born!

I love this ... and your makeup is very good.

Hmmmm ... some new clown names for you, RD ... Awesome, Cute, and Snazzy. Actually, I'm surprised someone hasn't latched onto "Snazzy." Thoughts to ponder ...

Nettie you're right... You did notice the time that this thread was posted last night... If only my parents knew they had a clown running around that late at night. Well atleast its a good ol' 50's clown... I can't begin to fathom the trouble that "Speakeasy The Clown" might find if I had done 20's themed.

Thanks Loki... I'm glad I ran it by you and Will in chat last night before I tried it out.

Thanks Sassy... I added him in ...I think the blue in the eyes is what makes them pop.
