I had an old fedora, much like the kind worn by Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movies, that looked very much like the hat in the video when I pushed it out and formed it so the top was softly rounded. Don't know if that helps but it's one idea.

Clown Antics: Hats p1: Derbies, Mini Clown Hats...

No idea of the quality of hats here as I've never ordered from them, but they seem to carry a selection of hats hard to find elsewhere from being discontinued or such

I'm in the market for a good juggling hat that will fit with my silent film era persona. Karen Bell seems to come up a lot in regards to hat work. Anyone have any experience with her hats?

I use one of Karen's hats (it's the one pictured in my present avatar. It's a great hat and really likely my best prop. However, for certain tricks you may need to stiffen it up some by using rabbit glue inside. As they come, the felt tend to collapse easily making any trick which requires the hat to keep shape difficult.

Dube makes some good juggling hats. Nils Poll is kind of a standard, but they are awful heavy (that's my hat for the full auguste character.)

Honestly, I'd just find any particular hat which suits the purpose and make it work for you. Don't worry too much about it being a "juggling hat", specifically.
