I have been working on two new costumes. The first one I made out of a poly/cotton blend seersucker material which does not show the wrinkles. It is basically wash in cold water, hang up to dry. It is so hard to find nice ploy/cotton blends now....most of the bright clowny type material is 100% cotton which is horrible for wrinkles.
Here's the first:
This is the second costume which I made for a cancer event/walk which I was at yesterday. It is made from the pink ribbon and hearts breast cancer material. Unfortunately, it is 100% cotton which is high maintenance! It has a special significance though....my dad is a breast cancer survivor! I have also been asked to appear at 2 relay for life cancer events in June.
Here is the other costume:
The following 2 clowns say thank you to Gumball for this great post:
When I got home from the cancer walk, my new clown shoes had just arrived in the mail from clownmart. I was disappointed that I didn't get to wear them to yesterday's event, but I will wear them next month at the Relay for Life walks.
Here's my new shoes:
They all look fantastic. I wish I was this handy with the sewingmachine. The only thing I'm capable of is sewing buttons and that is about it. Nice one Gumball
