I'm using my own long dreadlocks. Darkblond. I wouldn't mind it to be more colorfull when in clown. But walking around with for instance green hear 24 hours a day. Hhmmm.

I've tried wigs in the past.

I've got a natural bald-pate, so I just wear my "real"
non-hair.

Actually, I do grow out the sides some so I can frazzle
them, like Red Skelton does sometimes.

And, because I have such a large bald area, I wear a
really tiny hat to set that off.

I have a big ole head, so I'm gonna have to be creative. All the wigs I have found have a max of 25" and that may be pushing it for me. I was thinking of getting a dark grey wig and have it sewn into my hat, resulting in a normal hobo look that will fit my big ole tater. Does that sound like something that could work?

I wear a size 7 3/4 hat, so most costume hats won't work for me either. I'll either have mooseburger make me one or buy a brown stetson derby in the right size and make it hobo-fied by dragging it down the road behind my car a few miles.

Jeff, a word of advice... When your hat is dragging down the road, please don't you be wearing it. The bedraggled look is one thing but that takes realism too far.

Tip hat

I don't do the wig thing YET. . . due too large melon and hot climate. But I'm developing a tramp character which is going too have a hat/wig that goes with it. I'm planning to make it meownself. . . yup I'm cheap like that. I'll probably shave my head from time to time so when I tip my hat I get the wow factor. Heck I might just get another tattoo up there for adveritizin porpoises. Ya ever seen a tattooed porpoise?? It ain't pretty. . . . .

My main color is blue, however, I change once in awhile. The main reason I wear blue is because I was at a clown class when a dealer came in. I wanted to start visiting the hospital right away and the dealer only had one wig left and it happened to be blue.

If you look on my website, you willl notice that I wear different colors of the same style, just for fun once in awhile. Anyway, I like my hair to coordinate with my costume and sometimes the blue doesn't go with the outfit.

My favorite color is yellow, and that is how Blondie came about. I bought the yellow wig and voílà ... Blondie was born!! Blondie never changes hair color.

I forgot to update on this one. I had Mooseburger make me a custom wig and hat. They took one of their normal hobo wigs, cut it and changed the size to "tater size" as I call it. They also made a custom hat for me. They were sooooo great to work with...
