Has anyone here ever heard of this type of clown style. I first read about it in a children's book on clowning, which I borrowed from the library. I've never known of an adult clown to use this charactor. A "cheery" is supposed to be an inverse of a comedy whiteface. So instead of the face being mostly white, it is mostly colored. I was just wondering if there are people who use this design professionaly. And if so, what is the purpose of a cherry clown? What role does a cheery play, in relation to other clowns?
