Default Time to buy...

Well, I have made the commitment and ordered my hobo clothes. I did the custom design process with Pricilla Mooseburger and the order is now complete. I haven't ordered the shoes yet, but that will be done as soon as I can decide between Jollywalkers and Spears. Once it's all in place, I'll post pics. If you want a hint, I'm a hobo that won't be wearing black or brown...

Well if you were working with Pricilla we know that you will be the best dressed hobo in your area. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

I can't begin to tell you how nice it is working with Precilla and her team. They are so easy to talk to and it seems they can read my mind. I didn't even know how to express what I want clearly to them, yet they came up with exactly what I wanted.

I may have mentioned in a previous post that I bought my dad some hobo pants from Pricilla over a year ago and they made a huge difference in his costume.

I'm getting the whole package from Pricilla: pants, coat, shirt, tie, socks, hat, wig, and even a lapel flower. Having them do the whole deal will make things simpler for me; I don't have much time to dedicate to costume building due to my job.

Now I just have to order shoes and keep practicing popping, I mean building balloon animals.

How exciting. You're getting a complete makeover. Wouldn't that be a great TV show "Clown Makeover"? When will your stuff be ready?

How odd, I posted a reply last night and it never showed up...

Anyway, Mooseburger and Spear's both estimate 6 ~ 8 weeks. However, I'm not in a big hurry. Since this is a rather costly expenditure, it will be my Christmas present. Merry Christmas!!! That means when it all shows up I'll try it on to ensure all is well, then hand it over to my wife so she can box and wrap and give it to me at Christmas. I'll post pics after that.

(Maybe if I don't think any happy thoughts until Christmas I'll forget about the clown clothes in the closet.?.)

I just spoke with the fine folks at Mooseburger and Patches' clothes were shipped out today!!!

I can barely wait now. I'll be nervous at every sighting of a UPS truck... Santa is bringing the new clothes, so Patches won't be able to post pictures until after the holidays.

Ok it's time to buy for me too!

BUT...

I'm a bit frustrated! The best clown staff is in USA!

Mooseburger's clothes are REALLY good with high quality compared with those that I can find in the european online shops!

The problem is that I can't have clothes from USA shipped, cause there will be a problem in the customs house in Greece.

I try to find some clown costumes in European shops, but I don't think that they are high quality.

Here are some:

Any opinions - ideas?

I suppose an option would be for someone to sew for you. You might be able to hire a seamstress, or maybe you have a family member or friend that sews. Many U.S. clowns sew their own costumes, or have a family member do it.
