Wig Care

Hey Everyone in The Clown Kingdom...
I need some advice.
I have a "good" wig that I purchased from a dealer, it is starting to get away with itself! Can we say FRIZZ???
I have never had a wig, hair extender, or any other type of fake hair on this head until I purchased this one. SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOO that makes me green hair illiterate.
Can any one give me a clue ???
Thanks in advance,
You all are a great BUNCH OF CLOWNS!!!!

I wash mine in Woolite in cold water and let it drip dry on the styrofoam head. It seems to work fine. Mine is blue, but I think it should also be good for green.

Nope; I just use a pick to pick the curls out. I think if you are really having a problem, maybe that spray conditioner for babies that you leave in would be good. It's light but would help with tangles and frizz. Don't comb it ... just scrunch it and let it air dry. Drying takes quite awhile but it is the best.

I wash mine with gentle soap as well, but you can put a light conditioner on it and pick it out and occasionally you might need to trim it. I haven't had to with my curly, but my dtr. straight one we had to trim lightly. once. I used to use foam heads for mine but at one conference it was suggested it was better to use a wire wig stand as this let them breath better and the foam can promote mold, growth. They even suggested that if you didn't have a wig use the pop bottle that has the indentions on the bottom as a wig stand to let your wig dry on. Just my 2&1/2 cents

I can understand a wire one WOULD be better. Good tip.
