I'm just West of the recreational vehicle center of the world. I'll bet one of my friends has a connection. I'll have to visit that site again.

Check with your local vocational education center. Welding is often taught in those places, and everything has to be checked and supervised by a qualified instructor. I've had ours make a few on my instrument repair tools and they have done very well.

I uploaded a few pictures of my "Santa" stilt pants Nettie. You can find them in the "last uploads" section for now; or in my photo album section of clown-forum...

Yep. He kinda got the short end of the stick during his first halloween. Painted as a pumpkin then... So he'll be a holiday behind for Christmas and Halloween as far as presents and goodies go...

Another stilt pic from New Year's Eve...

Nothing too exciting for me - I did some walk-around magic at the Theatre I perform regularly at...

Oh that is so neat. You both look great. Thanks for sharing pictures. Don't scimp on the new baby Ishmael pictures once he's actually here.

A couple of Christmas' ago I played the Ghost of Christmas Future in Scrooge. I walked on drywall stilts then... with the aide of a long black staff to keep my balance and a hoop around the bottom of the robe to keep it from tangling up in the stilt legs....

It was an experience walking with them since I had never done anything like that before... Luckily I didn't have to walk to far on stage and once I got there I didn't have to do too much movement.

I did learn however that I'm not that great with heights and that even though Razzle Dazzle always has his head in the clouds he will keep his feet planted firmly on the ground
