Just remember that most people don't know the story of Dan Rice and Uncle Sam, all they know is the Uncle Sam from the "I Want You" for the army posters.

I think it's great that you're trying new things Willace I have to agree with Fitz that if I saw someone in an Uncle Sam suit with a green beard I'd either think he was trying to make a statement (green beard means the government should go green, maybe?) or think the guy wearing it must not care about the image he's projecting. Now if you really did want to make a statement that's fine too, but I don't think people would look at you and think "Uncle Sam crossed with a clown!", unless they already knew you.

Maybe Willace wearing an Uncle Sam beard would work though. He's already got a natty hat annd cane, so it would look very dapper and old fashioned, I think. And you wouldn't have to color your beard.

I think that it is really good of you trying to created a new image of willace but maybe the super hero is better. I mean you can wear it all year around, it can be funny, you can make it look any way you want it to look and you really can bring your clown character to life in a fun and cool way that kids/adults can relate to. I was in school today thinking about how a five year old child would know about uncle sam and add a clown to it. Not many kids would get it. Now a super hero kids/adults know all about them and to add a clown to it would really get a laugh and make people happy. I don't want you to get mad or give up because I think it is really cool that you are letting your clown character grow but I also think that you can not change a character that is know so well to some thing no one knows what it stands for. I really want you to try the super hero character because that will be a good/fun one for all ages. Hope this helps and I wish the best of luck.

It's cute!

Those pants are great. You should use them all the time! Very clownish.

I think a different shirt would really complete the look.

Is that a cane you have? Nifty. (Wish I had something like that. It would work for my character.)

Not exactly as I had pictured, but it looks good. I think the plaid shirt works for a clown version of Uncle Sam.
