I am confused by the green hair spray. Uncle Sam and 4th of July are so red, white and blue.
Green would work for St. Patrick's day next week...

I think if you wear the Uncle Sam outfit you won't be "Willace" you will be Uncle Sammy the clown" You should spray your hair White or Blue if you are going to wear the Unclw Sam suit.

I think you have a good idea of trying to bring your clown character to your uncle Sam character. I also think that if you just change the beard that won't be enough to get that point across. Thats like me saying I want to do a Aanta for Christmas and change the beard blue because DJ has blue hair. If I did this people won't then think DJ they just think Santa with a messed up blue beard. I also don't think you want to mess with a character that stands for the US in that way because you are confusing the audience and the image of uncle Sam. I mean when I think of uncle Sam, I think red, white and blue suit with a tall red, white and blue hat and a long face with a long white beard. This is the image most people have of him. As a entertainer, you don't want to confuse your audience and change the image of such a well know character. Instead try bring you clown heart to the character and be Willace with out the beard that way you can tell the two apart and not confuse the image of Uncle Sam. I hope this helps and good luck.

But Willace, everyone knows Uncle Sam. Especially around the fourth of July. And at this point there are not a lot of people outside of the nursing home that really know Willace the clown. If you wore the suit just to the nursing home to visit your grandma then some of the residents would understand that. But out on the street, with people who don't know Willace, well... they really wouldn't understand and might be offended. Patriotism runs really high around the fourth, and with the war still going on you wouldn't want people getting upset when you are tying to make them happy.
A super hero siut on the other hand is a great idea. Especially if you still keep Willace's vest and hat. You can wear your vest over the Super hero suit. On the front of the suit have a big "W" in a doamond shape similar to Superman's logo. It would be great. In fact it might even be so good that you would want to use that for Halloween instead of Spooky next year. When you do "Super Willace" please talk a few pictures and post them. Please, please....

Its an interesting concept Willace, and yes I see where you're coming from but like Fitzwilly said... others who may not know Willace aswell as you and those of us here on the forum, may think that you are poking fun at one of the most Iconic patriotic symbols that our country knows. Which might not be a good thing during this time of war (and election).

I never seen what would be wrong with a clown dressing up as uncle Sam When Uncle Sam IS a clown & was a good Friend of Abes. He is even in the clown hall of Fame
